About ServPrivacy

About ServPrivacy

ServPrivacy is an anonymous offshore hosting provider founded in 2025. We operate VPS and dedicated servers in 7 jurisdictions chosen for their legal and technical privacy properties. Our core thesis: no personal data should be required to rent a computer. Authentication is token-based. Payment is cryptocurrency-only. Logging is disabled at the hypervisor level.

Journalist FAQ

Journalist FAQ

01 Who owns ServPrivacy?

Ownership is intentionally distributed and compartmentalized. We do not disclose individual operators. This is a design choice: anonymous hosting requires operator anonymity to be credible.

02 How do you handle law enforcement requests?

Requests must go through the local court of the jurisdiction where the server resides. We have nothing to give beyond what the applicable legal framework strictly compels — and our no-log architecture limits that surface dramatically. We publish a monthly warrant canary at /canary.

03 Why 7 jurisdictions?

Each targets a different threat model: Iceland for free speech, Panama for data retention avoidance, Moldova for budget offshore, Romania for post-retention EU, Switzerland for premium privacy, Netherlands for peering, Russia for western-proof.

04 How do you prevent abuse (CSAM, terrorism, etc.)?

Per-jurisdiction terms explicitly prohibit illegal content. We cooperate with investigations of CSAM and terrorism reports through proper legal channels. Privacy is not immunity for harm-causing content.

05 Why no Monero?

Currently BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT cover the largest user bases with the lowest operational complexity. Monero support is being evaluated.

06 Why token-based auth instead of email?

Email addresses are identity. Requiring an email defeats the purpose of anonymous hosting. Tokens are cryptographic secrets issued per payment — the customer controls them, we cannot recover them, and they tie to no human identity.
